Michele has been working and studying extensively in the fields of autism and behaviour for over 15 years, building upon her training in early childhood in education, through to teens and post school options.
She has presented workshops at local and state levels and has provided support and guidance to schools for children with autism and complex behaviour issues. Michele has been successful in gaining scholarships to study in the fields of autism and education and has travelled overseas and interstate to see current practices and broaden her knowledge.
In 2009, through a merit process, Michele was successful in gaining entry into the Federal Government’s Summer School Program for Outstanding Teachers in Literacy and Numeracy at Edith Cowan University, Western Australia.
Michele is well skilled in assessing and; assisting in the education design and support for children with complex needs, challenging behaviour and the many facets of autism. Michele has a very personal experience with autism in her family and is a mother of five wonderful grown up children. It is these experiences which make Michele a passionate advocate for those living with and on the Autism spectrum.
As the founder, Michele’s aim is to help other families and children of all ages with difficulties in the areas of autism, behaviour, communication and education and especially to see all people reach their full potential.
